This page doesn't really make sense. on the one hand, one should divide their learning between torah, mishnah and gemmara (iyun?). on the other hand, the article says one should learn halakha and mussar, which don't seem to fit into these categories (maybe they fit into mishnah). I think it is clear that different poskim have different opinions about talmud torah. While the chaye adam says that one should learn mussar at the expense of other torah, reb chayim volozhiner would most definitely disagree. I think I saw a footnote in one of the English versions of his nefesh hachayim which maintains that no more than 5 minutes a day of mussar is necessary. Not all of these opinions can coexist. And how many people (or yeshivot) are actually careful to split up their time equally between these three aspects. I find it hard to believe this page really serves as a proper guide of what to learn in any real way. This bears very little resemblence to minhag yisroel. Much like the mishnah in avot about at what age one begins learning mikra and mishnah bears little resemblance to minhag yisroel.
