The Dirshu 168:47 quotes the Aruch Hashulchan as holding that matzah brei is mezonot unlike the safek that most poskim hold it is. However, from the context and Mishna Brurah 168:59 it seems clear that the Aruch Hashulchan is discussing something other than matzah brei. He is discussing something that is deep fried or matzah which is crushed up so that it isn't recognizable. --YitzchakSultan (talk) 12:21, 18 July 2017 (EDT)
