That food has salt of sadom which sticks to your hands and if not washed off makes you blind.
How do you understand this?
A hungry person generally understands the plight of another hungry person...because he is in that position himself.
But when he is full....after having a meal....there is a tendency to miss the hunger pangs of others.
(In sadom theology  - my is mine and your is yours)
By final waters the Jew is consciously proclaiming that I am satiated but still sensitive to others who are not. My personal satisfaction does not make me insensitive to others who are not so lucky...and I will ask for them in my prayers.]]
