Shavuot morning
- If one didn’t sleep all night one should not make the Bracha of Netilat Yadayim until he goes to the bathroom. [1] One should not learn after Olot HaShachar until he washed his hands in the morning. [2]
- One should not learn after Olot HaShachar until he said Brachot HaShachar. [3]
- Since there’s a Safek whether one must make new Torah Brachot in the morning, one shouldn’t make the Bracha but rather listen to a friend making the Brachot and intend to fulfill your obligation. [4]
- Alternatives that would allow one to make the Brachot according to all opinions include: 1) sleeping a little during the day (Erev Shavuot), or having in mind when you make the Brachot HaTorah Eruv Shavuot you intend only to fulfill one’s obligation until the next morning.
