I saw your comment about the terrible practice described in Shach 192:11. I couldn't find the Shulchan Aruch Harav or other poskim you described. I'm happy to include them, however, all I saw so far was a bunch of achronim who agreed with Shach that it is terrible, the advice of the yetzer hara, etc.
