  1. One should apportion one's time to study torah mishna and gemara. As one is beginning to learn one should split the time one has to study during the day into three. One should be spent on Torah, one on Mishna and one on Gemara. After one is knownledgable in Torah and Mishna one can mov eon to study only Gemara. [1]

Conduct during learning

  1. One should be careful to eununciate with one's lips everything one learns and one shouldn't just reading with one's eyes. [2]
