From Rav Shay Shachter: Rav Schachter feels that Avinu Malkeinu should not be recited during Chodesh Nissan as it has always been considered to be a חודש הגאולה. From Rav Shay Shachter: Rav Schachter feels that Avinu Malkeinu should not be recited during Chodesh Nissan as it has always been considered to be a חודש הגאולה. Tachanun is not recited nor should Avinu Malkeinu.--YitzchakSultan (talk) 12:04, 26 March 2020 (EDT)
