Maggid
Mitzvah of Sippur Yetsiat Mitzrayim
- One should have intent before beginning Maggid that is fulfilling the mitzvah of Sippur Yetsiat Mitzrayim. [1]
- One should only start the Haggadah after Tzet HaCochavim. [2]

- One’s son should ask the questions in order to explain Yetsiat Mitzrayim. If one doesn’t have a son, one’s daughter should ask. [4] If one doesn’t have children, one’s wife should ask.
