- The Chavot Yair laments how the Taz and Magen Avraham didn't publish second editions of their commentaries to Shulchan Aruch, leaving their works containing mistakes, enigmatic language, and incorrect rulings. The Yad Aharon complains that the Magen Avraham didn't have many Sefarim available to him, so he saw many of his sources secondarily through the Kenesset HaGedolah and did not look them up in the original text.[1]
