Days when a Eulogy is Forbidden

  1. It is forbidden to deliver a eulogy on Chol Hamoed except for a talmid chacham.[2]
  2. It is forbidden to deliver a eulogy on Chanuka, Purim, or Rosh Chodesh.[3]
